Creativity & Service: Playing with kids at a Rural School

Hours: 2.5 of Service, 1 of Creativity (Speaking and Listening to Spanish)

Learning Outcome: Collaboration for Playing with the kids

Along with other students from my school, I played with and talked to kids from a rural school here in Uruguay. It was helpful to meet a kid with Ema, a student from my school who speaks Spanish fluently. I practiced my Spanish while on this trip. I also pointed out to the kids where I'm from on a world map. I also listened to a lot of Spanish, which I understand very well when it is an adult speaking, but not as well when it's a little kid speaking.
